Roundel Top

Roundel, three concentric stripes, blue white blue.

The form of the hellenic roundel is based upon the french and british roundels initially painted on the military aircraft delivered to Greece. The colours, white and blue, come from the national flag. The shades of blue change with the units and the periods.

Fin flash Top

Flag, three vertical stripes, bleu white blue.

Different from the national flag, the fin flash has the form of the british fin flash.

Variation Top

White cross, blue background.

Roundel used on the aircraft used in the SAR role (Search and Rescue).
