The national flag of the Netherlands was used between 1942 and 1945 as only marking, painted at the six usual positions, on the aircraft flown in the dutch colonies, in South East Asia and in the Caribics.

Marking used by the Netherlands after the beginning of World War II to show its neutrality. Painted at the six usual positions, it was replaced by the flag.
