The spanish roundel uses the colours of the national flag. Its proportions are slightly different than these of the classical roundels, being thus closer to those of the stripes of the spanish national flag.
The roundel is the same for all the air components : the Ejercito del Aire (Spanish Air Force), the Flotilla de Aeronaves, part of the Arma Aerea de la Armada Espanola (Fleet Air Arm of the Spanish Navy), the Fuerzas Aeromoviles del Ejercito de Tierra (Spanish Army Aviation), and the Guardia Civil (Civil Guard). The aircraft of the Navy have 'Armada' markings. Those of the Army (FAMET) have codes in the 'ET nnn' series.
